Phil & Amity - Winners of The Block All Stars 2013
Selected Caesarstone Statuario Nuvo ™ 5111
Phil, Amity and their two children recently moved into their stunning home and began the journey of renovating right away... without all the TV cameras and other contestants! We've been thrilled to see the progression and now the final shots of their home; it radiates character and charm, taking on the Hamptons style with high ceilings, hard-wood flooring and luxurious styling. The kitchen is the heart of the home, positioned perfectly between the dining area, living room and outdoor alfresco area - featuring shaker style cabinetry, butler's sink, tiled splashback and marble inspired Caesarstone Statuario Nuvo benchtops, for excellent practicality and that stunning marble look.
“When designing our kitchen we wanted it to have plenty of wow factor, but also be practical for family life, so Caesarstone was the obvious choice. The beautiful marble inspired look of Statuario Nuvo was exactly what we were after for our Hamptons style kitchen and bathrooms and we’ve had so many comments on how stunning it looks. It also stands up to everything our kids throw at it, so for us it’s a winner on both counts!” - Phil & Amity
Mark 'DIESEL' Lizotte - Australia's Rock Music Legend
Selected Caesarstone London Grey™ 5000
American born, Australian rock music legend Mark Lizotte (aka Diesel) and wife Jep have recently completed converting 700m2 of derelict Sydney warehouse space into an open plan, modern and functional home featuring an impressive Caesarstone London Grey kitchen island measuring almost five metres long!
"When we were doing our initial planning into the conversion, the one thing we agreed on immediately was that were going to use Caesarstone's London Grey in our kitchen space.” said Mark.
The open plan living means that the massive island bench has become a focal centre piece of the home.
"We do a lot of entertaining and everyone always comments on the London Grey island bench,” said Jep. “Our friends and family are drawn to the island bench and immediately think that it is a natural stone product. They are amazed when we tell them it's Caesarstone!"
“We continued the use of the London Grey up behind the cooker as a low maintenance option and to break up the use of stainless steel and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.” - Mark Lizotte

Lauren Burns – Australian Taekwondo Olympic Champion
Selected Caesarstone Snow™ 2141
Self-published vegetarian cookbook author and taekwondo Olympic gold medallist aren't normally the type of accomplishments that would go hand-in-hand, but for mother of two Lauren Burns this is just the tip of the iceberg.
As a qualified naturopath, nutritionist and herbalist, motivational speaker and Order of Australia recipient, needless to say Lauren Burns leads a busy lifestyle - and it would take a special kitchen to keep up with her daily routine.
Lauren's kitchen not only needed to look beautiful but also be robust and highly practical with plenty of preparation and storage space.
"We carefully designed our kitchen to suit our family and the way we use this space. We wanted the kitchen to be the central hub of the home, a place where people congregate, sit at the bench, chat and are involved in watching the cooking process or just smelling the aromas coming from the kitchen. Caesarstone was the perfect choice for a surface that was both practical, durable and had the design features we were looking for." - Lauren Burns.
Lauren's kitchen certainly makes a bold statement, with Caesarstone Snow benchtops crafted by Multiform Melbourne contrasting the beautiful dark Tasmanian Cambia Ash cupboards, complimented by black taps and a black fraganite sink with inbuilt soap dispenser and insinkerator.
With healthy, nutritious home cooking on the menu each day, Lauren's Gaggenau cook top takes pride of place on the island bench next to an in-bench steam which Lauren says is probably the most used appliance in her home.
Guy Sebastian – Australian singer-songwriter
Selected Caesarstone Oyster™ 4030 & Organic™ 4600
Guy Sebastian’s holiday home on the picturesque NSW South Coast sort to meet the ambitious brief of creating a practical yet stylish kitchen, which would take full advantage of the gorgeous panoramic ocean views - ideal for entertaining or weekend escapes with his wife Jules and baby Hudson James. The kitchen was designed and built by Freedom Kitchens featuring Caesarstone surfaces.
The internal structure of the home was knocked down to integrate the kitchen and living space into one seamless, streamlined area which would become the main focus of the renovation.
"Walls were knocked out to make the living space one streamlined open living, cooking, dining area. That created a lot of pressure on getting the kitchen a hundred percent right!"
"We had to work the design around two structural poles so it had to have some kind of convenient workflow when it came to cooking too. Of course it had to look modern and slick too - tick, tick, tick!"
Guy approached his renovation as an investment, not cutting any corners to ensure the final result was not only both beautiful and practical, but also add value to the property.
"I guess with any renovation there’s always areas where you know it’s wise to invest in quality and others where you can compromise. I feel we approached the whole kitchen as something to really invest in so we didn’t really “skimp” on anything."
"We definitely wanted to include Caesarstone benchtops as they are such a quality brand. While there are some cheaper alternatives around, we wanted to go with the trusted name."
Guy eventually chose a striking combination of Caesarstone Oyster and Organic White in the form of an L-shaped island bench which he loves as it just "screams communal".
"Our Freedom Kitchens designer nailed it with the L-shape bench top and incorporating the varying levels and colours in the benchtops." - Guy Sebastian
Ky Hurst – Australian Olympic Swimmer & Ironman
Selected Caesarstone London Grey™ 5000
Legendary Australian Ironman and Olympian Ky Hurst and his wife Katie began their search on the Caesarstone website looking for inspiration in colour and design before finally settling on Caesarstone London Grey, a popular Supernatural design inspired by marble.
“We did the comparison of the Caesarstone product ranges versus other materials including natural stone, but very quickly realized that Caesarstone was the smart choice.” said Ky Hurst.
With their home in a spectacular setting right on the water, Ky and Katie wanted a kitchen bench top surface that fit in with the style of the home, was functional and low maintenance.
“Caesarstone London Grey from the Supernatural designs ticked all the boxes. We could not be happier with the finished bench top surface. We know we have selected a bench top surface that will serve our growing family well for many years” - Ky & Katie Hurst
Sean Connolly – Celebrity Chef
For Grand Design Kitchens owner and head designer Javier Rezzonico, it took some big ideas to make the most of a small space for the new kitchen of renowned chef Sean Connolly of Sydney's Star Casino Astral restaurant. Sean wanted a contemporary, airy and practical kitchen with plenty of bench space fit for an award-winning chef who's more accustomed to an industrial scale kitchen.
"When embarking on my new kitchen I knew that this time around bench space was a priority. They needed to be hard wearing and practical and I was looking for a light colour to make the whole area lighter and brighter. Caesarstone had just released their new Supremo collection and once I saw the colour Swan Lake I knew I had to have it. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome." - Sean Connolly
Nerida Conway – Australian Businesswoman, Sucessful Media Presenter, Home Cooking Icon
Selected Caesarstone Ocean Foam™ 6141

With this ultimate love for food, it is only right to have the perfect kitchen.
"When it came to choosing a benchtop, I realised how many features I wanted them to have. They had to look luxurious and stylish, but also be super functional. Given my strict wish list for my benchtops I chose Caesarstone – it was an absolute no-brainer. I actually cringe a little when I hear myself rabbiting on to anyone who will listen about my benchtops – I’m a borderline Caesarstone groupie now." - Nerida Conway
Nerida chose Caesarstone Ocean Foam for its reflective nature, and its light white palette.
"It reflects the light and brightens up the whole space, showcasing the wonderful ingredients the chefs lay out as they prepare their dishes."
With Caesarstone you also retain the cool, tactile qualities you would from any other natural stone benchtop – without all the maintenance and worries of staining and scratching. Nerida says -
“It’s great for tempering chocolate (if you are ever inclined to do so) directly onto the bench top, and it’s also fantastic for things like rolling out pastry – so I now think of it as a kitchen tool and accessory.”

Two of the largest TV personalities have fit their own kitchens in Caesarstone – Kourtney and Khloé all have state of the art kitchens designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard, with their countertops finished in Caesarstone. The quality of each kitchen is second to none – infact The Architectural Digest made reference to Caesarstone and Bullard’s decisions on selecting the benchtops for the Kardashians homes.

Furthermore, Caesarstone recently collaborated with FYI on its new primetime talk show, "Kocktails with Khloé", which features Caesarstone Oyster™ 4030 countertops and on the kitchen island featured in the series’ set.
In the new series, Khloé Kardashian, TV personality, author and entrepreneur, will be joined by celebrity guests and friends in the kitchen and around the table for a lively dinner party filled with cooking, pop-culture conversation and fun party games.
